Pleasant and absolutely fantastic place, I thoroughly enjoyed polite personnel.
The location was marvellous and LOVELY, for example, an Echo beach was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. There was a rustic restaurant nearby.

The hotel was near the beach and near Potato Head. The breakfast included toast, fresh bread, hot waffles, fresh fruit and eggs. The service was very good, it had an astonishing rustic restaurant.
Couldn't stay longer.

Location - it's well off the beaten track but you can walk to the (very well) beaten track very easily if you want to. Close to the beach in the other direction. We were a couple but if I'd been there on my own, I might have felt a bit isolated as everywhere is at least a 10/15 min walk down dark narrow lanes (at night). But if you're with others, (or lots braver than me), it's the perfect mix of close to action if you want it, but secluded from the madness if you don'T. Room - the studio we stayed in was perfect. We had a real sense of privacy even though the hotel is quite compact. Pool - the pool area is modest, but a perfect size for relaxing. Staff - they were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately our trip coincided with a fairly big family group so the pool wasn't quite the peaceful, relaxing space it might otherwise have been. Not a big deal as we went for a walk on the deserted beach and spent a lazy afternoon in the Moon Cafe instead. Location - the hotel is quite difficult to find (it took our airport taxi driver several attempts and he had to ask several people), so maybe make sure you take a map of where the hotel is. Also the telephone number on the info from Booked.net was wrong so we had a very mild panic that we might never find it!

Came across this hotel by chance after having made the mistake of staying at a characterless 5 star hotel in Legian beach at first, in the middle of the mobs of burger eating football watchers. The Puri Madawi made my trip, it was the real Bali, charming rooms, a wonderful pool, and super friendly staff. It was pure heaven, I would not hesitate a second to stay there again. Get the suite rooms if you can afford it, they are gorgeous. Only minor issue is that it is a little off the beaten track, but still within a reasonable stroll, and taxis are easy to get and cheap. Highly recommended!

Quite, small hotel with nice personal.
Far away from any shops and cafes. Can't use Wi-fi in the room.

I liked the fact that there is only 16 terraces/bungalows so it is nice and small and has an intimate feel. Staff are very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is only a short scooter ride to the main shops and the beach is only a few hundred metres down the end of the road. It will definitly be my first choice place to stay again

We loved the resort, it was very green and full of plants and trees. The bungalows were gorgeous and the bathroom was lovely and very uniquely designed (even though it didnt have a bathtub). People were very nice and friendly. There was free tea and coffee for an hour at 4pm at the restaurant next to the pool which was nice and relaxing.
It was in amongst rice paddies, so some taxi drivers found it hard to find. But as long as you carried the hotel business card it was fine. It took about 5mins taxi ride to the heart of Seminyak which was fine.

The embience and spacious room was a nice surprise, considering the address was a bit difficult to find.
The location is a bit too far to walk to nearby cafes/restaurants. Need a private vehicle or taxi to go out.

They resort was lovely, very relaxing and i loved the rooms. The area around the pool was very private and had lots of plants and well established gardens. I like that it was more traditional balinese style resort. Breakfast was fantastic. Also great Mojitos from the pool bar.
Only problem was the time we went there were a few kids , even though we knew it was school holiday times they were quiet noisy and were allowed to swim in pool til midnight. Think this was only a one off incident but stil bit annoying.

The staff at the restaurant are amazing and extremely helpful. The front of the room is great with the couches outside so you can sit and watch the rain.
